It's really wonderful that we get to meet all sorts of people from all walks of life on our kayaking trips; and from all nationalities too - as we did when we successfully hosted the Global Meet 2007 on the waters on the 24th May 2007 with the Sarawak Convention Bureau. Kayaking anyone?

Brilliant Life

After a busy and hectic week of work and traveling, I was really looking forward to spend some time on the waters even if it meant waking up at 4.30 am on sunday morning!

But I was rewarded with a brilliant blue sky and water; and where they met it was almost impossible to tell where one ends and the other begins. Like what is real and imagined. Life is magical and this world can be beautiful. We just need to get out there; and see it. And it's worth it.

Here's wishing you a brilliant week ahead.

Timeless

All my troubles and worries float away every time I get on the water.
With the first few strokes of my paddle I slip into another time, place and dimension.

Even if this escapade is only for an hour or so and a couple of steps away from my jetty.
I can do this forever.
